Gals that Give Benefitting Literacy Delaware

Held at the DuPont Country Club, we are in for a delicious evening that includes a full dinner & dessert. In addition to great conversation and giving back to the community, there will be a pick-a-prize auction, cash bar, and a 50/50 raffle.

This month’s proceeds will benefit Literacy Delaware.

Literacy Delaware helps adult learners realize their potential as confident, self-sufficient, and productive employees, supportive parents, and engaged community members.

Volunteer tutors donated 5097 hours of instruction in 2022.

Literacy Delaware helps adults that speak 27 different languages, including English. Literacy Delaware respects the diversity of our learners and embrace their diverse backgrounds, countries and languages.

Literacy Delaware partners with Community Organizations and Libraries to Advocate for all Delawareans. Community partnerships are essential to increase our reach in the community and build a strong continuum of services to serve adults in need in Delaware. Partner organizations help with learner and tutor recruitment and provide meeting space.
