Gals That Give Charity is building an empowered network of women that through philanthropy and support will change the world.

In 2013, Gals That Give Charity was a startup Delaware nonprofit founded by a group of women volunteers in Kent County. The founding vision was to provide opportunities where all women can be philanthropically engaged, inspired and support the community in meaningful way.

In 2022, the women founded nonprofit, Gals That Give, expanded its reach beyond Kent County and began hosting events state wide.

  • Host #DoGood benefits with 100 to 400 attendees per event.

  • Support 70+ charitable organizations of all sizes with funds that stay local to Delaware

  • Bring awareness to nonprofit and for profit organizations that support the community.

  • Fuse meaningful connections between women, local nonprofits and the broader community.

  • Inspire others to get involved when they can, where they can.

  • Build an engaging network that fosters a culture of kindness, authenticity and support.

Through Gals That Give Charity events we have been able to:

Who We Are

Entering into our 11th year as a women founded nonprofit, our board and committees, comprised solely of volunteers, could not be more excited about continuing our mission of making philanthropy affordable and accessible for all. We have provided a platform for Delaware non-profits to raise both funds and awareness through our regular “Gals That Give” dinners. These evenings are filled with hundreds of women gathered together for a delicious local meal, uplifting camaraderie, and a meaningful purpose. Each event not only highlights & focuses on a local non-profit whose mission is positively impacting our community, but also fundraises with a robust auction where 100% of funds go to the monthly non-profit.

FAQs

  • Gals That Give Charity #dogood benefits are “gal’s night out for charity” events that include a dinner with cash bar, charity presentation, 50/50 and “pick-a-prize” auction with approximately 60-70 baskets. Attendance range typically has been from 100 to 400 women. Proceeds from the auction and 50/50 go to the charity.

  • Yes, of course. While attendance is typically primarily women, men can join the #dogood fun, too. In the past, we have celebrated our birthday with a “Gals & Guys That Give” event if it was an appropriate fit for the charity.
