Gals that Give raises funds for Compassionate Hearts

Gals that Give charity hosted another successful fundraising event at the Baywood Greens clubhouse Oct. 25, as the group grows its presence in Sussex County. More than 125 people gathered to share a meal and laughs while raising more than $5,200 for Compassionate Hearts, a local nonprofit providing equine therapy and personal development.

“Gals that Give continues to experience success in Sussex as we work to highlight local nonprofit partners. The Oct. 25 event was the second-highest grossing event of the year across all events throughout the state,” said Verity Watson, a member of the Sussex Gals team. “We very much look forward to doing more good work in 2024.”

Gals that Give hosts monthly dinners to raise funds and awareness for local nonprofit partners. GTG originated in Kent County as a way to make philanthropy accessible to everyone. Each event includes a meal, interactive auction and 50/50.
